Travel Advisory

Note: Updated information is in red.
The previous advisories regarding the limitation of the duration of stay for pilgrims and brief visitors in the Holy Land, as well as the restrictions on travel locations, have been updated.
As outlined on the Pilgrimage website under Guidelines and Planning Your Stay, pilgrims are once again permitted to stay up to 38 days in Israel, while brief visitors can stay for about two weeks. However, they may only stay in the ‘Akká/Haifa area during the days they are invited either for pilgrimage or for a brief visit.
If you will be in the country before or after your pilgrimage or brief visit, you are welcome to visit and stay in other parts of the country. You are asked not to visit Gaza or the West Bank—which includes Bethlehem and Jericho. In view of the frequently changing security conditions in Jerusalem, you are encouraged to stay informed of the news and follow any advice issued by your government or other appropriate sources before deciding to visit this city.
